It has been a genuine honour to represent you and lead this football club this season.

A special mention must go to Stuart, our groundsman, and his Army of helpers. The work that goes into maintaining the pitch and surrounding areas is extraordinary. Week in, week out, the surface has been of an exceptional standard—without doubt one of the best not just in the SCEFL Premiership, but across the county. That doesn’t happen by accident; it’s the result of countless hours of dedication and care, and we thank you sincerely for it.

Behind the scenes, there are so many individuals who keep this club running smoothly. Lee, our secretary, is quite simply outstanding—diligent, professional, and someone who goes about his work quietly but with immense impact. A true unsung hero.

Finally, to the committee, and in particular Dave and Tim—thank you. Your trust, support, and belief in us throughout the season has meant a great deal. Football inevitably brings ups and downs, and while results haven’t always gone our way, your steadfast backing and positivity never wavered.

You’ve shown real leadership and integrity, and you’ve made this journey an enjoyable and rewarding one, even during the more challenging periods.

As we close the chapter on this season, we do so with a clear understanding of where we’ve grown, where we can improve, and what we are capable of achieving together. The foundations are there, the spirit is strong, and the ambition remains high.
